PICO AUSTRIA

Pico Austria is an amazing full-day hike in the Royal Mountain Range, located in the Condoriri area of La Paz, Bolivia. Known as "The Place of the Condor" in Aymara, this area is full of beautiful lakes and high peaks, making it a favorite for hikers and climbers. Our hike leads through the stunning Condoriri Valley, passing by clear mountain lakes and reaching the summit of Pico Austria at 5,350 meters. You’ll enjoy breathtaking views of glacier-covered peaks along the way.

From the summit, you can see Lake Titicaca, the mountains of the Royal Range, the whole Condoriri region, and the impressive west face of Huayna Potosí at 6,088 meters. This hike is perfect for those wanting experience trekking above 5,000 meters.
